After you have created your claim in the Claims List claim, you can make changes to the print preview of the form.
From the Claims List screen, you will click Edit Claim to the left:
This an especially nice feature if your claim has Failed Validation. At that point, you will go the Billing tab and look at the Claim Validation box:
This box tells you exactly why your claim Failed Validation and you can then make your changes one of two ways. The first is to click on the Billing Number, which will take you directly to that billing to make your changes:
This will make the changes permanently in the Billing for future claims. You will then update the claim to the left and see your changes on the form
The second way to make changes is to return to the CMS-1500 form and make the corrections directly on the image:
In this case, this is not a current Medicare Beneficiary Number, so you will want to correct that. Then you will Validate Claim to the left:
If you update the claim, it will wipe out the information you added and put in what was there previously, if you do your changes directly on the form.
