Medical Alerts are used in TotalMD to alert members of the team to certain facts about each patient. Below are instructions and information about using this feature and here is a link to watch a YouTube.
These alerts are found in the Patient Information>Medical Alerts:
To add a new Medical Alert to your system, go to Setup>Additional Setup>Set Up Alert Codes:
To the left of the screen, you can Edit (F9), Delete or Add (F8) Alert Codes:
To create a New Alert, click New Alert on the left:
You will add a Code, Name and Description for your new Code:
In the Description area, you can expand upon the Name of the Alert. Then, Save Changes to the left:
You will then see your New Alert in the list and be able to use it in a Patient Chart:
