In TotalMD, you have both a List to pull in patients who want to be seen earlier than an appointment that may be out quite a ways in the future and to create a Recall List for patients that you need to see again in a certain amount of time.
By starting in the Scheduler, you can find an appointment that you want to put on the ASAP List:
You will then double-click on the appointment, which will bring you to the Appointment Entry screen, where you can see the Place on ASAP List checkbox:
Once you have checked this box and saved your changes, the program will return you to the Scheduler and this patient will appear on the ASAP List:
To add a patient to the Recall List, you will do Lists>Recall List:
This will take you to the Recall List screen, where you can click New Recall to add a patient to the list:
In the Recall screen, you can either type in the date you wish to have the reminder to reschedule this patient, or use the drop down calendar:
You will then add your patient:
You can then add a Note if you wish to help you remember why you are recalling this patient:
You will then save Changes to the left:
This will bring you back to the Recall List, where you will see your new entry with the date of recall:
