In TotalMD, both the headers and search filters can be customized for your use. All of the lists work this way, in this article, we will use the patient list as an example. First, we look at customizing the header bar which you will find directly above whichever list you are viewing shaded gray:
By clicking on any category and holding down your mouse button, you can drag the named of the categories wherever you want them in the list:
The second way to customize this bar is to go the left-hand bar and choose the option to Customize View:
This will bring up your Customize View screen:
In this screen, to the left you will see all of the Available Fields that are available for you to add to the list view, the Viewed Fields (the current headings on your bar) and the Title to Show, which is what you see in the bar at the top. By highlighting an Available Field and clicking the arrow in the middle pointed to the right, it will add that to your Viewed Fields:
Once you have added the category to your screen, you can reorder your categories by highlighting them on the right and clicking the up and/or down arrows to the right:
You can also rename the Title to Show by right-clicking on the item that you wish to rename:
After you click on the Rename pop up, you will see the Rename Column box. Under that, your will see New Column Name and a blank box where you can change the column heading name:
You will then click ok and see your change under Title to Show:
After clicking OK, you will see the changes you made in the column headings:
The second thing option you have to change in the list screens is the filters at the top of the screen:
To add or delete search filter, you will go to the left-hand column and choose Customize Filter:
This will bring you to the Customize Filter box where you will see everything you can add and delete Filters at the top by checking the boxes that you want:
When you have made your choices, you will click OK to the right. At this time, your changes will be reflected in the top of the screen:
Any of the filters that have an arrow will give you a drop-down menu:
The other fields you will type your choice into and then see the changes in your list:
Remember, you can customize any list in TotalMD in a similar manner.
