In TotalMD, you can add notes regarding events in the patient’s experience.
By going to either the Patient List, Scheduler or Ledger and selecting your patient, you can go to Activities>Patient Journal:
You will then see a pop-up screen for the Patient Journal:
You then have the opportunity to give the Journal Note a title:
If you do not fill this space, the first 35 letters of the message will be used instead. You then have a large space to create a detailed message:
You will then Save to the lower right-hand corner of the pop-up:
The last step is to click Close:
The next time someone opens this patient’s Journal, the message will be seen:
